Per Packpride twitter: Just to clarify: Thomas Allen entering the portal is not necessarily "transferring" from NC State, it's looking for another opportunity with his spot already filled next year.

This doesn't give NC State an additional scholarship next year to work with.

Duke reaching out to him doesn't necessarily mean they're on his list. He would be playing behind the top two recruits in the country in Lively and Filipowski

Otherwise, it wouldn't have been "shared" on the message boards by the "sites" themselves.

Doesn't mean that Boo wouldn't have decided the same thing, but this decision was essentially made for him... he just got to announce it.

Woodson has a history of this type deal. He hired Yow on his own going against the suggestions of the hiring committee so not surprised he pulled rank (if that's even the case, no idea if it is).

Woodson also told Yow to give Dave the extra money when his agent was playing Tenn.

Damn, I was a freshman when Woodson was hired and have always thought he has been a great leader for our university but he really needs to let Boo do his thing. If Boo wants to hire someone else then that should be his decision. Theres still some good candidates out there: Mack, Turgeon.
