I would tend to agree. Not saying we should lose our minds if he picks Providence, but we've been the supposed leaders this entire time, and now all of a sudden we may lose him to providence? Just another red flag.

Missing on Epps might not be horrible. LJ Thomas is honestly a better player and keatts will be able to see a lot of him this summer as he and mj rice will play for team loaded for Thomas carr. State has been recruiting Thomas pretty hard lately and I wouldn't be surprised to see an offer soon

patience my dude. The portal isn't even good an warmed up just yet. Personally, I'd rather wait and try to snag a kid from a High Major school than a Low/Mid Major kid, depending on the kid, of course. The kid from Charleston Southern is intriguing b/c of his defensive abilities.

Surely there will be some kids out there like Alan Griffin who wasn't a starter or was a part time starter at their previous school but can come here and be impactful. We saw the same from Trevor Lacey and Al Freeman.

Yep I think the Charleston southern kid is a take because of being two time defensive player of the year and his scoring ability. Even if his production gets cut in half that's a 10 ppg scorer

Cam Hayes was top 50 when he committed. He reclassed and ended up about the same ranking as this Epps kid. If Epps reclasses into the '21 class, my assumption is he'll be lower than Hayes.

Shakeel Moore was 20ish spots lower than Epps on the 247 composite.

Ernest Ross is top 50 on 247 and top 60 composite.

Terquavion is 85th in the country on the composite and 73rd on 247. Epps is 64th on 247 and 115th on the composite.

Breon Pass is going to get a bump on 247 that probably puts him in the top 100.

I assume his difficulties you reference are in getting top 25ish kids and not related to kids like Epps?
