1989 and 2010 are the 2 I remember

1989 Coastal Snow I was stuck in Tabor City. Needless to say there were no plows around lol

2010 was a good one in Raleigh.

Any others you guys can remember?

It's supposed to be hard. If it wasn't hard, everyone would do it. The hard... is what makes it great.

89 kinda messed me up for the rest of my life. I was 9, just old enough to really understand what was going on. In the movies, it always snowed on Christmas, and it was snowing that year, so I thought that was going to happen on Christmas for the rest of my life. I've spent more Christmases since then in short sleeves than I have in parkas.
317 on ignore and counting. Maybe you'll be next!

That's sad to see. I would love to see a white Christmas.

I'm sitting here complaining it's too cold today. Blood is thinning as I get older. Don't care about the white stuff. lol

Triad area we had one in what I'm going to say was '76? Got my first fiberglass skateboard that year and couldn't ride it that day.

'89 was out of school and back in the Triad and actually we (my dad and I) had to drive a family friend to Myrtle Beach the day after... still remember that trip.

'10 was in Hickory married with two teenaged kids and had a blast... IIRC we got a couple of more snows after that one and kids didn't even get back to school as scheduled after New Year's.

At this point, I'd like some snow this winter.
