I'm watching Alex Jones' show (which just started 8 minutes ago) to see his reaction. Should be good stuff.

Im not surprised Trump won. However I am very surprised that (at least as of now) hes going to take the popular vote as well.
Some people call that a mandate.
I think its more of a referendum on the current administration. There gonna be a lot of think pieces on why Trump won, but I think it boils down to the old adage:

"Its the economy, stupid"

Agree.

This is principally a referendum on the economy. It was an unrecoverable issue for Biden/Harris evidently.

Most of these other breathless hot takes are just resulting, and filling in the blank with Mad Libs indictments of the left.

Most everyone in the country wants and needs affordable health care.

Most of the country still agrees with sensible, legal abortion.

Most of the country still wants to actively support Ukraine and Israel and our other allies.

Most of the country cares about democracy.

This was a vote for change. A lot of people were frustrated.

The country is tired of the left and Biden/Harris.

When Trump's successor is running as a defacto incumbent in 2028, then they'll likely be tired of him and whatever his flaws are too.

That's why change candidates around the globe have had such success running against incumbent leaders and their parties in recent years.
Ukraine needs to find another cash cow. Most of the country does not support sending more money to Ukraine. I prefer a President who negotiates peace instead of funding proxy wars with nuclear armed nations.

One party also completely spit in the face of their entire party by installing the candidate they wanted. Someone running for the US Presidency that literally never received a single primary vote is not "caring about democracy". It's caring about staying in power regardless of the collateral damage.

Sweet, hope Trump can negotiate peace with his buddy Putin.

That would be win-win-win for us and Ukraine and Russia.

The great irony is that Latinos nationwide handed the election to Trump. You can kiss your fantasies of mass deportations goodbye (not that the business community would have ever allowed it). Trump will pretend he's doing something, of course.

Oh, and I think we can finally put to rest that the people bawling about CHEATING last night even while there were dozens of bomb threats being called in to Dem precincts are officially complete idiots.

Still can't stop the preposterous gaslighting, and projection.

Your side is the one living in la la land -- a fantasy land of 70 genders, where trans men should be sharing locker room and shower rooms with 10 year old girls, where unborn children are "not human beings", and where "God doesn't exist" and we are all "evolved monkeys on a rock flying through space after it shot out from a big bang."

But now, you know, I hope they are buddies enough to stop a freaking war and endless killing going on over there. Not to mention stop our taxpayer dollars going to Ukraine to fund it and enrich politicians and the conglomerate wanting endless wars. Do you think it's worth the potentially catastrophic negative impacts to our economy especially in certain industries like agriculture and construction?

It's going to affect my former industry I know. My former subcontractors are here legally but a great deal of their labor is not. If mass deportations happen they are going to be in trouble which means my industry will be in trouble. Out of 45 subs 3 are own by white Americans. The rest are Hispanic. Most of their work force are here illegally. But they are all great workers who work and go home. Rinse repeat the next day

Gulfstream, since you quoted the resident idiot, I'll respond...

Latinos are more upset about illegal immigration than liberals. They understand the impact it has on their life. Trump will do something about the illegal immigration, because he doesn't give a rats rear-end about the Chamber of Commerce type business people. All they care about is cheap labor.

Cheating? Nope!! I'm not done with that! We absolutely need to figure out why the deviation in votes, for the Dem President happened, in 2020. 2020 had very little to do with voter turnout; rather, it had all to do with ballot stuffing. the numbers were never there and history, along with this election supports the thinking.

lol at civ supporting the people that create a problem then telling the detractors that it's too expensive to fix.

I think there should be some sort of tax placed on democrats to put into a fund to pay all victims of crime from illegal immigration. Maybe if there's any money left over they can use it to buy iPads for the children that were born here to become citizens by their illegal parents that subsequently abandoned them after being deported. Can use the iPad to FaceTime the parents that left them in the USA.

Actually tax the liberals so they can feel good about their virtue signaling... You want them here, pay up!!! For me, they broke a law. Take their over-used birth-right argument child with them.

Then, apply to come in to this country, like all the other Latinos did that don't like the way the illagals got here...

Is it worth the billions of dollars to hunt down people who walked around the capital. Or stood outside the capital? Or prayed outside of an abortion clinic. The law is the law. Enforce what the legislature has deemed as illegal activity and follow through with the proscribed actions. If you don't like it…. Change the blood law don't ignore it.

Are your kids going to start barning tobacco, picking cotton, cucumbers? I have been a PM in the construction industry for almost 40 years. Not one single person in a PM role was a hispanic. And all the flooring companies I've worked for did bid work. Lowest bidder. We still paid these guys stupid low wages. I've had to source out manufacture certified work for "Americans" and they were twice the price as a "hispanic" certified worker. Most my subs haven't had a raise in per SF in almost 20 years. But they still work. And they did quality work. Did they complain? Yep. Did they still do the work? Yep. And they did it right. I had 2 "white" ceramic companies. Both let their sons run the hispanic crews. Guess which one called out the most?Another tile crew I subbed was from Vietnam. Great guys. The brothers were all naturalized American citizens. Their crew? All un documented from Vietnam. Never a problem. They did the ceramic at Triangle Town Center and most 250,000 sf tile jobs in NC. If they were to lose their crews they'd be screwed which in turn would have screwed me on scheduling and completition timelines.

Saw this on a different site, so I can't take credit.

Three point plan to get started.

1) Trump and congress outlaw "Sanctuary Cities". Transportation money is cut off to cities and states that don't comply. As an illegal breaks the law, ICE detainers will now be honored and the criminal illegals will be deported, after they serve their time in a US prison.

2) Illegals are no longer eligible for any entitlements (Food Stamps, free housing, WIC, etc.), the free loaders who are not working will go back home when the freebies end.

3) Count only US citizens in the census. As soon as democrats lose the electoral votes from having millions of illegals in their states, they will fly them out of the country quicker that Kamala flew them in.

And of course, get back to work on that wall.
