Oh and it looks like Trump is going to win Iowa by 13+ or so. That poll from the Des Moines Register was a voter suppression poll and nothing but BS.

But that group of talking heads on MSNBC knew. They were all lamenting how the world was going to be a much worse place tomorrow in Kiev, Gaza, etc.

Well……. I said Trump would win years ago.

I said that to Glass, Hokie, Civ, Chem, and the unc guy.

Well…. Guess what? He did.

And….. hold on…. He took at least 4 Senate seats as well.

Y'all can all sleep well tonight knowing I was right.

I asked a ref if he could give me a technical foul for thinking bad things about him. He said, of course not. I said, well, I think you stink. And he gave me a technical. You can't trust em.

Yeah, and I think we all knew that. If they wanted to try that stunt with any success, they should have tried it in a state where it would have been believable.

Looks like the outcome of this election is the economy. It always the economy. Betting big on abortion is going to cost Harris

It was always the economy...so vote for the guy whose economic tariff plan economists have been lambasting for months?

Betting big on abortion and women didn't cost her. That was just leaning into her obvious advantage there.

Her guilt-by-association from being on Biden's ticket in an economy that's objectively better than people think it is, but viewed by most of the country as being bad, is what cost her.

look at the game tape. People vote with their wallets, when ground beef is 40% higher, the folks in office are going to get the blame. Guess who was in office and is getting the blame?

No disagreement there.

But that's saying her de facto incumbency hurt her because of economic perceptions, not her focus on abortion, which is my point.

There's probably some validity to that. You know what gets me is how some politicians don't get that leaving frustrated constituents to their own grievances, is always a threat to that same politician remaining in office. The greatest untold story about how the Dems broke the NC legislative supermajority is a good example. Frank Sossamon listened to the concerns of people in the most Republican part of his district about overdevelopment and runaway home building…and blew them off. As a result, just a few of these usually-Republican voting communities in southeastern Granville county voted Libertarian in protest, costing him his seat.

Her appearance on the View where she was asked what she would do differently from Biden and she pauses and said nothing came to mind probably really was the straw that broke the camels back
GOP did great job of playing that imagery over and over and since economy was #1, it was a big sinking anchor on her

Yep, her inability or unwillingness to distance herself from Biden was the biggest anchor.

Democrats wanted Trump. They ran ads for him in the primary. They thought they could run their weekend at Bernie's candidate out there and their minions would vote for him again. Their minions would have , but they realized after the debate that wouldn't be enough. So then they usurped their elected candidate and installed their weekend at Bernie's 2 candidate. They tried hiding her. They kept her to a script. Few but only friendly interviews. They dug in on their antisemitic position by not choosing Shapiro.

An absolute disaster all the way around that is reflective of their poor leadership, decision making, and how much they value the American voter.

"Try that in a state where its believable" is an interesting term. I'll bet there is some there-there to this with many more states. The dust hasn't settled.

Yes, this echoes what Chris Christie said last night - he had originally said he was "transition" which implied one term, but once he ran again, created a huge mess.

And it should immediately bring up for more concern exactly what has been happening with decisions in the WH for the past year+ with a man who has clearly no longer been capable of making key decisions
