Just gonna throw this out as well. But a majority of the advisors at this firm are state grads and they're good at what they do if anyone needs a financial advisor.

I'd like opinions on this. I generally pause a bit when the firm has CPA's AND advisors, as sometimes I worry that the CPA will "tax plan" around what is available (and they make more off) on the financial planning side? Maybe @wolfpackCPA can shed more light on that? I sort of tend to want to keep my CPA and FA as two different parties...or is that completely off track?

IPS doesn't have a full time in house accounting staff?

Think it depends on the individual advisor for 1 and their fee structure for 2. For example if they're just charging you a certain number of basis point for the assets they're managing and including planning and tax services as a part of it then there's no harm.
