You know who else thinks this idea was stupid? The oil companies!

It'd cost billions to upgrade the infrastructure, which isn't remotely worth it given the constant instability above ground and the fact that they mostly have "super heavy" crude which is cost prohibitive to refine.

I wonder if our mobster-in-chief will extort our oil companies and force their hand anyway?

Man that's tough. Maybe a helo? I don't think it's Hammer down that low? But it's hard to tell from the video. Usually Apaches were low man in the stack followed by AC-130 (Hammer) then A-10's(Hog) then fast movers like F-16's(viper) or F-15's (dude) then we were the "eye in the sky" operating as air (Warden) for the battle captain who got his orders from the pentagon or Langley or even the White House in certain situations.

Thanks for the info. I was wondering about Apaches when I saw the tracers but thought it might something a little more powerful. The Apaches can provide a pretty good punch too.
