Terrible news

Saw a picture from inside as the fire started, and it was pyrotechnics igniting sound foam above the stage, basically the Station Nightclub fire from 2003 all over again.

Saw an article this morning that referenced sparkers on champagne bottles that may have contributed as well. From what I read, seems like this went downhill very quickly.

That's awful.

I'm at the age now where when we went bar hopping on NYE I was scoping out where the exits all were as soon as I walked in. One bar was down in the basement and I was like nah, we can't be staying here, something pops off and there's no quick way out. Just never know these days unfortunately.
