LCDR Eric Cranford class of 1992 and classmate of mine. Eric was killed in action at the Pentagon on 9/11/2001.

Thanks for sharing. Today is about remembering those who died serving this country.

I didn't have family die in combat but I had family come back from combat that had so many problems they took their own lives. Worked with a bunch of Vietnam Vets that would share stories that would cause nightmares for life

Same diff, even if the government doesn't always see it that way.

Every year I get older, Memorial Day becomes ever more somber for me. I'm glad the weather is gloomy today, matches my mood.
