Yeah. Our rate has gone from $1500/year 4 years ago to $6k/year with rate increases and the addition of a teenage driver + car and one very minor fender bender (my fault, no damage to my car, bumper damage to other).

Painful.

I added a teenage son to my policy last year and that was a lot of pain. Gross. I've preached to him that if he gets a ticket or accident that's his fault, he's literally going to be working a job ONLY to cover the cost of insurance as I don't think he'd make more than that in a year to buy anything else.

I do use Erie Insurance though who've I've always enjoyed dealing with and so far have been the cheapest option for the coverage I have.

Yah. Why have a yuge woman and a waterbed when you can dual-purpose with just one?

I'm with Geico. 2 cars. Full coverage on the wife's car. Liability on my truck since it's paid off. $1,520 a year. Only slight increases the last 4 years.

1 car. Full coverage. 6 months at $1650. I have 1 ticket, just 2 points.

I am going to pay this stupid car off by April(24K left to owe) and Im never ever ever doing full coverage again. Hell no point, actually using your insurance when something happens is worse than a speeding ticket....oh yea I used it in 2020 and that is also being used against me

btw, I bet you if this car was paid off....that full coverage woulda been less. They know to really put it on people when a stupid law makes you have full coverage

I switched from Geico to Erie Insurance last year. Significantly better rate for the same coverage, and I got the discount for bundling with the homeowners. Highly recommend Erie.

Wife's car will be paid of no later than August of 25. Dropping full coverage on that one then. I have 243,000 miles on my Colorado. Going to replace the brakes this weekend and I need to replace the EVAP Purge valve. Lord I hope that truck can go another 243,000. I cannot stomach another car payment.

Never heard of them. Appropriate name for Halloween, though.

We use Farm Bureau with no complaints.
