Had some moderate storms roll through up near Rolesville. Followed those up with some nice steady rain. Good thing the grass guy showed up early.ncsupack1 said:
Just had a big storm come threw. I do love the smell of rain with a Maker's in hand.

An extreme rainfall event is set to unfold for parts of the Carolinas this week. Parts of the low country could see 20-30" of rainfall. With up to 10" possible into the Piedmont. Stay weather-aware all week! #scwx #ncwx #cltwx #wcnc pic.twitter.com/tW3wWVGfXt

"historic rainfall"...
Nothing will match Matthew. That was a downpour for nearly 2 days. Currently it's bands of hard rain followed by light rain. Matthew had places flooding in the Raleigh area that I've never seen flood.
Born in Lumberton, that area got absolutely annihilated by Matthew. Just never stopped raining.Wufpack17 said:

For our folks down east, how are you holding up? Saw a report of around 18 inches around Wilmington area.
Hate to hear that. Our thoughts are with you and others down that way.wilmwolf said:ncsupack1 said:

Alive, healthy, but it ain't good right now. I've got some bad water problems, but others have it a lot worse. Going to be crazy destruction of property from this seemingly minor disturbance. Prayers out to all affected.
