Had some moderate storms roll through up near Rolesville. Followed those up with some nice steady rain. Good thing the grass guy showed up early.
I asked a ref if he could give me a technical foul for thinking bad things about him. He said, of course not. I said, well, I think you stink. And he gave me a technical. You can't trust em. Jim Valvano.

I was up near Youngsville when the first batch came through. Back home was a storm followed by just rain.

Crazy amounts of rain. Those folks by Red Oak and Rocky Mount, stay safe. Lots of potential tornadoes with those outer bands.

Nothing will match Matthew. That was a downpour for nearly 2 days. Currently it's bands of hard rain followed by light rain. Matthew had places flooding in the Raleigh area that I've never seen flood.

Born in Lumberton, that area got absolutely annihilated by Matthew. Just never stopped raining.

Alive, healthy, but it ain't good right now. I've got some bad water problems, but others have it a lot worse. Going to be crazy destruction of property from this seemingly minor disturbance. Prayers out to all affected.
