Mouthy Megan Rapinoe sounds off on the transgender issue....

Maybe she should remember at the peak of their careers the USWNT in 2017 got beat by a team of 15 year-old boys in Texas... yeah... way to be the "woke" spokesperson Mouthy Megan...

I saw this yesterday and immediately wondered what the NCAA will do. Are they governed by FINA and do they have to follow FINA's guidance and recommendations? I honestly do not know, but if they are not required to follow FINA's guidance, I am not sure if this decision will impact collegiate swimming at all. The NCAA seems to have a mind of their own and will not do anything that exposes them to potential lawsuits from the transgender community.Mormad said:

This comment is very telling for our culture we live in…
" Instead, she argued that excluding them from competing at lower levels is cruel, as people value their 'kid's high school volleyball team' ahead of the lives and wellbeing of transgender people."
When I grew up, competition was all about trying to win. Some of us were not good enough to win; however, damn right, we wanted to. Not winning, for me, was about the understanding of my strengths and weaknesses. My parents were happy that I tried and told me to focus on being a winner in something. That has been my guidance all my life.
My brother is a fantastic leader and I believe to be the best sales person on earth. Those are his strengths. My strength are all about making his strength become a reality. He and I have always run businesses together, as we do today. I go back to the advice of my parents and get excited about my role! No participation trophy's for me. I'm good at what I do!!!
I guess that makes me underprivileged.FlossyDFlynt said:
Good. Playing sports is a privilege, not a right
The NCAA, if has 1/100th of a functioning accumulative brain, would use this as their scapegoat answer.Daviewolf83 said:I saw this yesterday and immediately wondered what the NCAA will do. I totally agree. It is a positive step, but lots more to do. I feel badly for the American collegiate swimmers and the young ladies in other sports, such as high school track and field who are facing this issue.Mormad said:Daviewolf83 said:I saw this yesterday and immediately wondered what the NCAA will do. I think you're right. It won't help collegiate swimming but it keeps those with certain competitive advantages off of our women's world and Olympic teams and keeps women's world records in the hands of the women that earned them, and I think that's a great start.

There is a reason Ole Megan is not the spokesperson for Subway any longer. I went to one about two weeks ago out of town, but had she still been the spokesperson or face of Subway, they would not have seen my money and they know that.Mormad said:
Hahaha she's saying that for the 10 people that give 2 shts what she thinks
You really think she has 10 relatives that will claim her and her opinion...?Mormad said:

Women have long been told their dumb little sports don’t matter. Now they get to be told by their heroes in women’s sports! Exciting times! https://t.co/drUXf2nLz8

How does Subway know? Did you call some corporate complaint line? Tweet at them? Inquiring minds want to know! What did they say in response? Did you write to them? I haven't been this excited to find out a response since the Corinthians wrote back!DrummerboyWolf said:There is a reason Ole Megan is not the spokesperson for Subway any longer. They knew she was bad for business because Subway's business had tanked. That is how they know. They fired her ass.hokiewolf said:How does Subway know? Did you call some corporate complaint line?
