I think the powers and principalities have gotten what they want from Biden and now he's being set up for removal, albeit the pathway to the door being yet to be determined. His usual media protectors turning on him signal that, IMO, plus McClain's resignation. I'm not clear, however, if it's simply because he's become a liability by himself, or whether his administration somehow crossed them as Kennedy, Nixon and Trump did.

I agree. This is all scripted. They want him out. He either goes quietly or the will get rid of him.
If he goes quietly or announces he won't run then the media will reverse course as will the people pushing him out. However reversing course, as time goes on, becomes more and more problematic. Biden has given them no choice. He is so corrupt, so dirty. No more room under the carpet for which to sweep his and his families transgressions against our country.
