No Bally Sports is driving me to consider leaving YTTV. We've been pleased with YTTV for years, but missing so many games (baseball, basketball) is getting frustrating. Anybody have DTV stream?
Were you wanting Bally for baseball? I purchase MLB.TV every year for Braves and love it. Then just use a VPN when they are playing the Nationals (stupid blackouts).packgrad said:
I had DTV Now when I first dropped corded DTV. Switched over to YTTV and never looked back... until Sinclair had to frick everything up. I used free trials in the past for games, and have been able to use others' accounts. Now pretty much everyone I know is on YTTV so I have no resource to catch any regional coverage.
Frustrating.
I know Bally said they were going to come out with an app next baseball season, but from what I've read it doesn't look like that will be a good financial decision. So it probably wont happen.
Yes, primarily. Braves and the Rays. That and the few regional network basketball and football games we play. I need to figure out a VPN. That's foreign to me.metcalfmafia said:Were you wanting Bally for baseball? I purchase MLB.TV every year for Braves and love it. Cary, I've got Google Fiber and have no issues with speeds. It's a lot easier to set up than AT&T and you don't have to negotiate every year or two with Google.caryking said:
Has anybody heard any updates on the Bally app they've talked about? I really want to leave Spectrum, but not getting Bally Sports South has me holding out…
Plus, I have both ATT and Google fiber outside my house. Anybody using either one?
That sounds like the choice for anyone I've spoken to. Now, it's time to figure out the streaming service. Everyone I know has gone to YouTube tv. DirectTV Stream is the only service with Bally Sports. I watched a video, last night, showing the interface. I really don't have an issue with their interface, at all.hokiewolf said:Cary, I've got Google Fiber and have no issues with speeds. What I'm hoping for is to have one streaming service and use it for my homes in Cary and Pine Knoll Shores. Basically, have it be portable..
Hokie, what if my wife is at the beach and I come home to work? Can we use YoutubeTV at the same time?hokiewolf said:you can do that with YTTV, not sure about DTV streamcaryking said:That sounds like the choice for anyone I've spoken to. Yes you can. I logged into my account from a hotel recently while my wife was watching back at home. I think its up to 4 simultaneous sessions (and it will drop one if you get to that number)caryking said:Hokie, what if my wife is at the beach and I come home to work? I don't do Bally. For Canes games I follow along on Twitter and catch them when they were on ESPN or TNT.
Yep... I despise Spectrum and would be willing to throw away a few games per year, to get away... Funny, I've been saying that for several years now...TheStorm said:

I can't speak to Braves, Rays or Canes games...but you absolutely can watch State games that are on Bally's. Use a VPN to get out-of-market --> watch State game on ACC Network Extra.packgrad said:caryking said:How about the few times State is on this channel?hokiewolf said:

You can't watch. Espn+ blacks out any games on regional coverage. No Braves, Rays, Canes, or State games that are on Bally.

Yeah. I'm VPigNorant. I have no idea about how to set it up. More importantly, I would need to know how to teach my wife who is more technologically ignorant than I am.FlossyDFlynt said:VPN's are cheappackgrad said:caryking said:How about the few times State is on this channel?hokiewolf said:
