All you have to do is give the SOCIALIST PARTY a platform to embarrass themselves and they never fail to do so. It's not like the entire room didn't know that they had edited the tapes to fit their narratives. In a real courtroom the Defense Team could have objected and the judge would have thrown out all of the deceptively edited tapes.

The party of science, intellect and education sure does make a ton of bone headed stupid decisions....

What really turned me to think that the media and politicians are quite ok about lying if they don't approve of someone was the senate hearings for Trump's appointees 4 years ago. I would be listening to CSPAN during the live coverage of one of the hearings and then happened to hear a politician discussing the same part of the hearing i was listening to on MSNBC later that night. Both the democrat politician and the media personality were raising hell about what was said during the meeting. There was a clip played of the hearing and i listened to it, and I definitely didn't remember it as the clip was played..

I went back and read the transcript and the clip had definitely been altered. It happened to be Jeff Sessions.

Since then I have made it a point to actually go to the source of the material instead of just clips that the media like to play to make someone look bad (or good depending on who it is)

Unfortunately it always seems to skew one way from the media side, and that it typically who most people get their information from.

As does moderation on social media sites......... some are even keeled but most aren't. And it's always skewed in one direction. The left overlooks statements from their brethren but is quick to admonish, FLAG, threaten to ban or completely ban Conservatives at a much higher rate.

That being said I guess younger lefties went more into social media these days for jobs because it's a hell of a lot easier than you know, hard work.

The left has maintained throughout that they felt conviction was unlikely but they wanted to plant a flag that the alleged insurrection was not democratic or OK, and they wanted to make Senators go on record as either denouncing or tacitly or explicitly endorsing Trump's behavior.

Whether or not you agree with that rationale, do y'all think Trump's second impeachment has electoral consequences in '22 and '24?

Civ, that is your view. They were trying to demean Trump and the MAGA movement so bad that it would lose steam or go away. Graham and McConnell created an agreement with all sorts trying hard to kill off the movement by telling Trump not to mention the Fraud charges.

In fact Graham has been strutting Haley around to big money recently. No coincidence she denounce Trump on Friday, in the media, before the defense started its day.

This is and has always been a battle between globalist and America first people! I know you and I don't agree on much; however, I would ask that you give the America first movement a listen. Economically, I think you would like it. You would have to consider tighter boarders and the positive affect it has on American jobs.

So the reason the SOCIALIST PARTY decided to drop the calling witness thing is because the Ice Cream Queen would have been the first one to take the stand. She KNEW there was a plan in place to storm the Capital. She new days before and refused to call in for additional security.

Mitch is a Globalist! Trump was the antithesis to Mitch's Globalist Establishment political thinking! Mitch never wanted to do the America First sentiment!

This country is at war with itself. This has nothing to do with political parties and more to do with America First vs Globalism!

So now in order to validate the recall the California Secretary of State is requiring that the 1.5 million plus signatures for the recall be verified? You lefties are something else. It's racist, misogynistic, suppressing voters etc... to ask for ID, signature verification for the President but not for a crooked governor right?
