Bailey has been in the game for several innings but the announcers have been calling him the guy he replaced the whole time. Looked good behind the plate. Was just up with runners on second and third and worked a full count before lining out to second. According to the coach that was interviewed earlier, the team will be cut down to only 24 guys, be interesting to see if our guys make the cut.

Wilson in the game as well, just extended the game and brought home a run after the center fielder dropped his high fly ball.

Wilson singled, but was caught in a run down. Next time up, he grounds into a double play to end the inning. No sign of Bailey yet this game. The guy starting at catcher also started last night's game.

Those guys are using wooden bats too. That will cause you to struggle when you're not used to it.

I was actually wondering the same thing last night. There are folks in the stands, but many appear to be scouts.

Wilson 0-2. Hasn't looked great in the leadoff spot. Bailey reached on a HBP in his first AB. The US team as a whole hasn't hit well this week, considering the stats some of these guys put up this year, probably adjusting to the bats.

They're programmed to hit 93 mph fast ballers, not underarmers and junk ball pitchers.
