LSU has lost a giant. Skip Bertman died early Friday morning.

A couple of things on Skip Bertman:

1) Even in his mid 80s, his love for #LSU baseball and college baseball never faded. Even as tough as it might be to get around, he would show up to fall games and regular season games alike and be completely locked in. I always thought that was very cool.

2) Skip and I had exchanged pleasantries plenty of times over the years, but when the book about him came out he called me to tell me about it. He also said I'm Skip Bertman as in to introduce himself. I just laughed and told him buddy you need zero introduction. What can I help you with.
