Actually served as the men's assistant basketball coach back in the early seventies as well as head baseball coach.

If you run across the book, "V and Me", it be worth your while to buy it. The most humorous and entertaining stories in that collection involve Esposito. Sam was the only other employee in the Case Athletic Center that V wanted to impress. Of course Sam picked up on this, and purposefully gave V a hard time when he could.

RIP, Coach. Thanks for the memories.

Greensboro so he could make the championship game is mentioned in his HOF induction
