Great comeback to get this one game. It was important especially after the first two games. They were able to claw one out that they could have lost.

Great hustle on the basepaths with all the stolen bases and Nance was able to bring it home.

Sounds like State absolutely thinks there was something going on with pitch comms. Lots of interference in the receiver with Coop yesterday so they went hand signals today.

Yep Bargo since injury and ACC competition has been terrible. McHugh has not been good and Fraasman is meh. These 3 have been consistently yuck. The rest of the lineup has just been inconsistent. One night good to great to another of being horrible. Mickey Ryan great example. Wiggins sample size I cant tell if hes in the yuck tier or the inconsistent tier.

He likes to make it known that he doesn't agree with the crowd. The coaches are actually smart, we're all dumb, and that obviously Avent is right about Wiggins.

Putting DeCarlo in mid-count with 2 strikes is kinds crazy - nice job getting that run in and putting it on play. I wonder if we start seeing him vs lefties

Yes - went to hand signals today

We need someone in the middle of the line up to get warm vs ACC pitching. Need a A-Mac type hitter in this line up. Not sure anyone is scared of anyone in our line-up

Genius move since it worked out -- Avent got somebody in who just needed to get the ball in play to get the 6th run which was the difference.

Yeah I think Head isnt necessarily a disappointment. Hes probably a little better than last year. Definitely power wise. But he probably hasnt taken as big a leap as some had hoped.

Mikey Ryan's improvement since ACC play started is astounding. I was one of the ones who wanted him benched a month ago and now he's one of our best players. Good for him- hope we can retain him after this year.

In conference play through 18 games Head has had a worse statistical season than Lanphere.

Head has 2 homeruns, BA of .240, slugging .358, OBP of .368 WRC+ of 80.

Drew has been good but the fact his conference numbers are better or equal to Head in almost every single category is not good for this team. You need more than what Head is giving currently giving.

If you look at conference play his numbers are down in most categories from last year. AVG, OBP, Slugging, WRC+ all down from last year.

Granted there are 12 games left so maybe power numbers will go up but he's only hit 2 homeruns in conference so who knows.

But the numbers even being close, let alone down from last year is a disappointment. You needed him to make a big jump.
