No clutch hitting all season - we are who we are at this point. With our top two pitchers down, coupled with our inability to just go out score folks, it is going to be a struggle to win series the rest of the way in.

Yeah most teams don't get ACC standard pitching from starters 3, 4, 5…
The situation sucks but I'm not sure any team could overcome losing their Friday and Saturday starters.

You wanna know why Nc State can't win games. Go look at the two at bats by McHugh and Johnson. You have a chance to put up a crooked number and you get one run out of that.

It's been like that all year. They can set the table but can't drive them in.

I've never seen a team get doubled up on line drives directly to the 1st baseman as much as this team. You can't really help it, but damn is that frustrating

No doubt. He walked Head on four pitches (none were close) then got a really generous call for strike 1 on Johnson to open the next at bat.
