He has 3 XBH the entire season. He gives you some OBP (.450 on the year) but is it enough to outweigh the sub-900 fielding percentage? Clearly State thinks it is. It's just jarring after State played Heavner all year last year supposedly because of defense

I get the lack of extra base hits. It's a flaw I was actually talking about while watching the game today but to your point the .450 OBP is huge, and that's with playing against the tougher part of the schedule. If you're looking to make changes Peifer for Johnson is not the move to me
