Our boys are in a dang funk… Gotta wake the bats up somehow and stay scoring some runs. Not really even making good contact tonight.

Nothing to depend on in bullpen. Someone needs to step up.

Now I will question why the hell we are bringing in Nance in a non leverage situation mid week. I hate that for your high leverage guys, just have him open the game if you want him to get work.

This is why I get gunshy with hot starts to the season. So hard to keep that going when the competition level increases.

Literally no coach anywhere pulls him there. We can question it after the fact but no one is pulling him with the way he was throwing tonight.

None of yall were calling for him to be pulled before either and wouldn't have had he threw another clean inning.

1000% Luke pitched a heck of a game. No way you pull him there.

We were feasting on some of the worst pitching staffs in the country. Now we can't barrel anything up against decent staffs.

Officially time to be concerned about the lineup. Very concerned.

Again, we can agree to disagree. It was also his 3rd time through the lineup. For a guy who hasn't been very deep in games or seen guys for a 3rd time, I would have pulled him. We didn't and we saw what happened, hopefully we learn from it and adjust next time!

In his defense, it's hard getting into a groove when you're getting a couple AB's a week. Same with Wiggins and Novy.

I'm kind of surprised they haven't looked at Ryan more but they seem to like him.

Frustrating. Agreed on the lack of aggression on bases. Not only were we not aggressive, but Campbell came in allowing a 85% success rate on stolen bases. 28-33 successful attempts by opponents.

This team is talented. I believe that. But talented teams get in dunks every year and miss the tourney - most recently UVA and Texas A&M.

We have to figure out the bullpen. And we have to swing the bats better than we have the last couple of weeks. The bench is going to get shrank - so as much as I like all the shiny pieces - certainly getting to the point where we have to find the guys we are going to run out there everyday. Running out of time on that. I certainly applaud the willingness to shake up the lineup today - that's evidence that we are searching - but we need someone guys to take the opportunity when given and absolutely run with it.
