Excited to see what Wiggins can do. I think it benefits the Pack if he is the real deal.
I like this lineup. McHugh in the OF opens up another bat, Wiggins or whoever else.
Rett does everything fast. He even runs in and out of the dugout fast. I love that intensity he plays with, he is just dialed in and on it 100% all the time at a level beyond most players.

What is the coaching staff thinking there? Cmon man this isn't rocket science. The kid pitched well for 5 innings, and was clearly tiring. There are plenty of other arms, and it was time to go to someone else. But no....had to wait until he gives up multiple runs to pull him.
Have you guys not seen our bullpen lately. No wonder they stuck with him
Seems a thing to leave pitcher in too long.

Preseason was McuHugh not getting the ball in the air and if Head grew into power. Both have proven those wrong but you're right, if they struggle we aren't going to hit for much power with the rest of the lineup,

Ended up on first, but Ty watching a hanging curve ball for a strike in a 2-0 count is the stuff we don't need. That's a punish pitch.
That's some bad luck there, Wiggins somehow hit that ball right where SS was breaking.

Y'all are making good points on why he was left in until he proved he was done. He pitched really well today and the bullpen behind him has been suspect. I get all that. He usually only pitches 2-3 innings with his longest all season being 4 against Akron so I think that gave me the impression that asking him for more than 5 today was pushing it. Regardless if we could hit it would be a moot point.
I'm still lost on the obsession over Wiggins. And Peifer shouldn't get another at bat the rest of the year. Feels like an overreaction to the FSU series

I question Avent and what he does a ton but I don't think that one is fair. Anyone leaves him in there with the way he was pitching.
