4-28 against tournament teams last year. It's a great lefty option off the bench, but the lineup is the lineup right now and they're pretty damn good.

Great win needless to say. State beat the eighth ranked team on their home field with a raucous crowd. Great pitching, hitting, base running, and defense. Hard to beat that. Go Pack!

Exactly man. I have said it before. But the thing with analytics is 1. the advanced numbers take a while to stabilize. So if a guy has limited ABs, you can see some wonky numbers.
2. The big ten is a significantly inferior conference. I think your point perfectly displays this.
3. Analytics that work in Pro ball don't translate to the college game 1 for 1.
Also Avent, Hart, and Robinson have had summer, fall and spring to evaluate these guys. I am not trying to bash the guy but read the tea leaves.
