What do we think happened to Nixon? I couldn't watch the game. Was it the play pack9 posted on twitter? If so it didn't look terrible I hope, he has been so good this year. Maybe ankle?

yes, it was that play. he came up a limping a little but stayed in. during the next half inning he flew out to right and was moving slow and got taken out

I have zero inside info but I wonder if he sits until ACC starts or midweek game before. You don't need to rush him back this weekend.

NC State 2B Luke Nixon left the game after the first inning, following this hard hit in foul territory.

"He banged up that ankle pretty good. We'll see," Elliott Avent said afterwards.
