One of you guys with "connections", please tell me if you know? Does this mean we will now start Heath Andrews on Wednesday, which would mess up the expected weekend starters for the following weekend, or stick with whoever Elliott was planning to start Wednesday and hold Andrews for next weekend?

I would expect Cooper Consiglio to start.
Thanks. My guess was Elliott would go with who they originally planned to pitch Wednesday and hold the (Sunday) weekend starters. Thanks for the reply.

You hardly ever see a weekend guy throw during the week unless it is a tournament setting or their schedule has just been moved a ton.

Maybe
I don't recall ever moving a weekend starter to mid week because of a cancelled weekend game unless you were setting up a change to the weekend rotation. I could see him maybe throwing on Wednesday if that was already a scheduled bullpen day for him, but it would be in a very limited capacity that wouldn't affect him throwing the following Sunday.

I thought Wiggins looked the part if nothing else. We know he has a bigtime pedigree as well. Will be interesting to see how it all shakes out over the course of the season. Somebody is going to have their feelings hurt. I think the whole left side of the IF is still up for grabs along with the corner OF spots.

yeah i meant the hard hit ground ball to mchugh too. took a decent play there to get the out. and 100% walks will come back to bite you if you arent a strikeout pitcher
