Great Pod as always but you have to fix Ethans Mic or phone. Whatever it is sounds like he talking underwater
Do what’s right-- trust
Do everything to the best of your ability-- commitment

A "we're doing it all wrong" podcast before we've played a game. A new record this year!
326 on ignore and counting. Maybe you will be next!

solid listen, seems like you guys had more questions than answers (not saying that as a bad thing at all, lots of questions/depth when it comes to this roster).

Would love to hear a predicted lineup from James/Ethan- both what you would do and what you think NCSU will roll out.

At least for opening day, I think State will go

Johnson 7
Head 8
McHugh 3
Bargo DH
Fraasman 9
Nixon 4
Peifer 7
Ryan 6
Lanphere 2

I would go
Wiggins DH
McHugh 3
Head 8
Bargo 7
Nixon 4
Fraasman 9
Peifer 5
Johnson 6
Lanphere 2

TBD on Ryan and Johnson. If they have to play, I'd slide them in for Sherman and Fraasman respectively. I'd love to get Novy in too, just don't know how

I would have Head lead off.

And I think you have to give Ryan a chance to start. He was too highly billed. Him and Wiggins are ceiling plays that you have to try at the start.

After listening to the podcast, I listened to the D1 podcast with Coach Avent again. Interestingly, he stressed the importance of fit and leadership. It reminded me a lot of the statements surrounding Cignetti's approach.

Ethan mentioned he hadn't seen many instances of players struggling at one school and then succeeding at another. Fit and teamwork are crucial on any team, especially during a transition. That is often a reason why people, or players, can struggle on one team while excelling on another.

Anyway, I'm excited about the season and the chance to see the Pack play in person at several away games.

Would be interested to hear Ethan go more in depth on his concerns around the schedule.

McHugh to left
Novy to first
Bargo a shot at 3rd or catcher

I still think if Pfiefer is that good at 3rd he could play short,

I also know none of this will probably happen but gets a lot of proven bats and power in the lineup.

The other option and the one that makes the most sense but we sure as hell will not see with AE is to platoon based on splits.
