MLB Pipeline released their top 100 draft prospects for 2026 last night.

The ACC is well represented but there isn't single State player listed....

Yeahhhh just not going to find many top 100 prospects sitting 91-92.

Doesn't mean Mahron isn't a great arm. Just those top 100 guys are going to be elite high upside arms.

Right, I was more surprised Head wasn't.

You could make the case with Dudan with his velo/slider but we all know of his issues.

Not really surprised by Marohn or McHugh being left off. I can see McHugh jumping if he hits more power and shows he can play the OF.

Baseball America released a top 100 just for college guys and Wiggins was the only one listed on there at 42. Head was HM.

The industry isn't very high on this group.

I could see Dudan potentially working by his way up there depending on how this whole starter thing goes.

I think Duden can get up there

Head needs a little more pop in his bat to get that high

It's a screwed up system. It's not good enough to just throw 98. You have to have something that makes you special. A good college buddy of mine got cut by the Orioles system this year because he is getting a little long in the tooth. He has been with them for the last 6 years sitting 97-98 and couldn't make it past AAA

I mean heck States "best" prospect is going to get beat out by a 5'9 170 pound freshman.

I worked in minor league baseball for a while and it is a different animal. Teams always value younger unproven talent over older guys.

I thought Head had a decent chance of going high but I guess not unless he shows more power.

Agreed. Head has the frame to do it too.

From a fans perspective these are the situations that always scare me. You got a guy going into draft year and I'm sure everyone is telling him "if you could just hit x number of homeruns…"

Although McHugh isn't as toolsy I think he is in a similar boat.
