Was able to keep up with most of it, some random thoughts-
First, the lineup. Rett Johnson leading off in the order over Wiggins (who didn't look good at the plate). And Mikey Ryan getting the first nod at SS. Of course, I am sure it will look different next week against UNC, but just observations. The 7 other guys were expected IMO.
The defense was overall good. Lanphere nabbed a baserunner. Dont think he had any bad passed balls either. I see we were charged with 1 error, which I guess I missed. Fraasman misplayed a ball out in RF (diving instead of keep it in front of him), but its fall. All good. That could have been the error.
The offense was solid. 3 homeruns (McHugh, M. Ryan, Bargo). and a few more balls on the barrel. Sherman Johnson with a couple knocks and really used his speed on the base paths. Might be tough to keep him off the field. Mikey Ryan K'd 2x (that i remember) but also reallly got a hold of his homerun. Seems like he needs to be a little more aggressive at the plate. Wanted to see him get on base and run. As mentioned above, Wiggins didn't look good at the plate
The pitching was overall good. Didn't have velos on the youtube, but thought Hemrick was fine. Not perfect, but not bad. Thought Sam Harris was NASTY, but still has to refine a little bit. His numbers look a little skewed due to the misplay in RF (i think that was him on the mound). Collins Black and Garino both looked realllly solid, and should be big bullpen pieces. Ragusa struggled some. Aiden Kitchings threw a really nice inning too.
