Alabama pitcher Danny Heintz has announced his commitment to NC State.

Heintz, who attended Cary (NC) Green Hope High School, spent four years at Penn from 2021-2024, pitching in 30 games and posting a career 7.45 ERA with 55 strikeouts and 31 walks.

He transferred to Alabama after the 2025 season but didn't pitch for the Crimson Tide in 2025.

Why did Alabama take him last offseason? Hopefully the coaches can unlock him, but we need to fill the roster spots with some veterans (like him) at least
