NIL would seem to be 3rd on the list of
Importance. First off are we offering full rides and then are we offering rev share and only after that wouod we be taking NIl for anyone.

JMU transfer Wyatt Peifer has committed to NC State. In 3 years for the Dukes he hit .268 with 33 doubles and 11 home runs while driving in 87 RBI. His bat is going to be a huge addition to this Wolfpack lineuppic.twitter.com/D3GLNSCYUI

Wyatt Peifer from JMU committed. Career 86 wRC+, but nearly 6 total WAR from his defense at third base. 2024 he was the best defensive infielder in the country with 18.3 DRS. pic.twitter.com/rSaowisUGS

Looks like a really good pickup for 3B

We've done the defensive 3b thing. I hope he's the man, but.

This kid is pretty similar to A Mak offensively before NCSU. About an .800 OPS his last 2 years while A Mak was about an .820 OPS his 2 years before coming to Raleigh. A Mak had a little more HR pop, Wyatt seems more athletic

A Mak had 2 double digit home run seasons prior to State.
Prefer is coming off a .695 OPS season. I get that he was fine at the plate on 2024, but the recent body of work is uninspiring. We need pop and a non-disaster defensive guy at 3b. This feels like a SS pickup placed at a power slot.
Yeah - we need more pop in the lineup, and this really does not do a lot to address it... Pretty underwhelming, honestly.Alex Gee said:
