NC State gets Clemson, Virginia Tech, or Stanford in its ACC Championship opener.

What's crazy is NCSU did best against 5-seed Clemson (3-0), slightly worse against 12-seed Virginia Tech (2-1), and lost the series against 13-seed Stanford (1-2). All those games were in Raleigh.

I think GT is the worst of the top 4 seeds.

I would prefer to see Clemson over any the 5-8 seeds. (WF Duke UVA)

Outside of being the 1 seed, the 4 seed with the teams on our side of the bracket we got was definitely best case scenario

If you're not the first seed (obviously we wanted to be the first seed), drawing the 4th is probably the next best deal, IMO. You play Thursday, get a day of rest until you play again Saturday, assuming you win.

For sure. I guess I'm just trying to find some positive from this weekend.

Obviously you would rather be the 1 seed. But barring that. Things turned out about as good as you could have asked.

Looks like VT will have Renfrow available for Clemson. He threw 6 innings of 2 run baseball last Thursday. 101 pitches but will have 5 full days rest.

Renfrow is an elite arm.
