Certainly plausible! Just doesn't seem realistic to me but I hope we find out.
19 acc wins = (sweep today, beat Stanford 2 of 3, win at Miami 2 of 3, 3-3 split with Clemson and unc).
That is still 5 acc losses (Assuming all wins in non-con that is 11-5 to close).
11-5 to close, generously, is an rpi jump from #36 currently to ~ #20, leaning on the five Q1 wins we'd pick up in that span.
We'd have to ask Ethan about the last time a team that low in the RPI got a top 8 national seed...

That's also not considering past opponents improving their RPI's or the ACC tournament giving you a boost.

Mentioned it last week that Marohn's BABIP and ground ball rate were way too skewed for him to continue with his lack of success (luck). Dealing
All the metrics said Mahron was getting extremely unlucky the last month. These last 2 starts have been what you would expect from him.
Have a nervous feeling about this, need some insurance.
Mahron is starting to look like a poor man's version of Greg Maddux. Looking at him you don't think he should be all that good, but 7 innings in and nobody's really hit him hard yet. Rinse, repeat.

I doubt McHugh would have asked for the replay if he did not know he was out. As a former first baseman, you know when the runner is out. That is pitiful that an "ACC" school only has one camera for the game.PossumJenkins said:

Great job by Marohn. Excellent outing on the mound. Dudan was not as sharp as he has been, but he got the job done.
Big Sweep. All the starting pitchers will get an extra day of rest and with the cross country travel, that may be something they need.
Let's take the series against Clemson!
