Really only that one swing on the play Head made. Everything else has been pretty soft and lucky from Pitt.

Yeah he's not getting hard, just his strike rate is a little low compared to his last few starts. Now with 3 walks throwing about 50% strikes. Big AB here coming up

i was thinking the same thing coming into this inning. But Avent typically plays the hot hand, for right or wrong, which Nance was coming into the 8th. Could be a confidence issue with Dudan, playing the hot hand, or a combo of both

Dudan's problems continue. It is a shame. To hit our ceiling we need him to figure it out. There is still time thankfully. At this point hitters know to sit tight and make him prove he can hit the zone.
