Velo is definitely down. Slider still looks great

Slider looked that good about 400-500 RPM short of what he typically is.
Can't lie and say that's not a little concerning. 89-90mph is 5-6 down as well

Yeah velo down but you could tell he wasn't going all out with the effort like he did last year. He always looked like he was throwing with max effort last year. Hopefully he'll be able to ramp things back up and get it going this year. He can help this team so much.

Yep, everything was down but have to assume he's not up to full speed. Just glad to see him out there. Hope to see him build up and get back to the normal we saw last year over next month or so

Think once he fills out some he's going to really start coming into more power.
Guys typically bounce back more year two from TJ, kind of the reason why I wasn't expecting a ton from Matty this year. Take what he can offer this year and hope it starts to come back to form some.

He was mostly 92-93 last year but still yeah hopefully just working back. As you mentioned the spin on the BB is probably more important if it was down too.

End of year when he was so lights out he was 94-95 with the fast ball. Need to get that back toward those mid 90's #'s if he is going to be as electric as last year. Has some time to work back to it with the arms we have developed last year.StateFan2001 said:Alex Gee said:
