I didn't agree with you on who should be at 3B to start but I think we have more pop than expected at a couple of other spots so have started to change my mind. Can't keep giving away runs like we have last two games.Alex Gee said:

Fritton obviously has to be better than he was today, but he still should've gotten out of this one giving up fewer than 3 runs. His own error is part of that.
I would strongly support using the DH sport for Jaros/Ossenfort to free up 3b for Heavner. We need that glove. Small ball from OSU really exposed the defense today.

If you're going to take Jaros' bat out of the lineup in this spot, then Heavner needs to be the everyday 3B.

Agreed. We have a lot of young talent in the lineup, and I'm not sure how many of them are truly ready to contribute at this level of competition.

So far we are definitely missing those big bats that can turn a game quickly like last season. Hopefully a few will figure it out soon
