I asked a ref if he could give me a technical foul for thinking bad things about him. He said, of course not. I said, well, I think you stink. And he gave me a technical. You can't trust em.

Scott Kornburg, The voice of the AAA ball team for the Marlins that plays in Vystar where we are playing is doing it. He used to do the MB Pelicans. WKNC will have games 1 and 2 at least, Game 3 begins at 3 on Sunday so might only miss the first inning depending on how long post-game for wbb is(:

The 12th-ranked NC State baseball team hits the road for the first time this season to take part in the 2025 Jax College Baseball Classic beginning on Friday, Feb 21-23. NC State will take on Ohio State, Alabama, and Coastal Carolina throughout the weekend, with all games streamed exclusively on D1Baseball.com.

2025 Jax College Baseball Classic Schedule:
Friday, Feb. 21
2 p.m. Ohio State vs. NC State
Saturday, Feb. 22
4 p.m. NC State vs. Alabama
Sunday, Feb. 23
3:00 p.m. NC State vs. Coastal Carolina

THE MATCHUP: Ohio State
Meeting for just the second time in program history, the Buckeyes have won the lone meeting before Friday. This will be the first game between the two programs since 1998 when Ohio State beat NC State, 10-4.

THE MATCHUP: Alabama
Saturday's game between the Crimson Tide and the Wolfpack will be the seventh meeting between them, but only the second time during the regular season.

NC State is 4-2 against Alabama. The first meeting came in 1968 in game one of the District three Championship. The last regular season game between the two schools was March 5th, 2016, when NC State won 2-1.

THE MATCHUP: Coastal Carolina
With a 21-14 record in the series with the Chanticleers, the two programs will be meeting for the first time since 2023, which saw a 16-4 victory by the Wolfpack.

The first meeting was in 1987, when Sam Esposito's Wolfpack won 9-6. Under head coach Elliott Avent, NC State is 10-8 against Coastal Carolina.

I had forgotten that former Campbell HC Justin Haire is now the HC at Ohio State. The Buckeyes started the season 0-3 after being swept by Arizona State
