Fan amenities will come in Phase III.DrunkMrWuf said:
Agree, that's part of why I'm so frustrated with the state of our renovations. Very little has been done in terms of improving the fan amenities, there has been minimal communication about it, and even when they are completed there is still not going to be a ton of seating. Wish we could get capacity to somewhere around 6-7K.
I believe all of the red chairbacks are held by season ticket holders and you can't get very good seats if you by season tickets. Despite that, it's pretty rare the red chairback seats are at 75% capacity or more. Wish we had more area for GA fans and for the love of God can we do something in left field?
I know they're planning on changing the hill in down the 3B line at some point but there's no consolidated area for students and that hill sucks, super steep and not very big. Wish we had some bleachers out in left like UVA does or an area like Tennessee does. Was watching the Florida/Miami game earlier and their setup in Gainesville looks awesome.
This has always been the plan. Not sure why fans don't understand this. It was laid out in the 3 part plan initially given when the renovations were announced. But a 6-7K seat facility isn't going to happen. We barely have 2,000 fans in attendance unless it's Duke/unc/FSU/ClemsonI40Wolf said:Fan amenities will come in Phase III.DrunkMrWuf said:

Exactly what phase are we in now? Renovations were announced in Jan 2022, and in between 2022 and 2023 there were new seats put in, a new playing surface, LED lights and a new scoreboard.
Obviously now construction is going on down right field line for hitting facility. But quite literally nothing else has actually been done from the start of the 2023 season until the start of the 2025 season. Additionally, there has been minimal communication on this made by the WPC & athletic department.
I understand that the whole thing came in phases, been when exactly are these phases going to be completed?
A week or so ago there were interviews with a couple of the players after a game. You could see plastic sheets hanging down over one of the doorways. Maybe they have started upgrades to the locker area.DrunkMrWuf said:

Are we promoting the idea that the ACC isn't good? I am not sure the point of underscoring midweek losses by the conference. I would rather underscore midweek wins by the conference. I bet there are a bunch of solid wins out there for some reason we aren't highlighting.

Feel free to highlight them then. No one is stopping you. This is just a thread to keep up with big wins/losses depending on how you look at it. And at the end of the day, we are HOPING that some of these midweek losses by ACC teams will affect their RPI when it comes time to host and we can take advantage of that.
The Richmond loss for NC State doesn't look bad. Bama is 4-0 in the SEC and beat Tenn last night, so another loss that isn't bad. Ohio State stinks, so that'll be a bad loss at the end of the year.
