Well they've gone 13-3 since dropping the series to FSU. Then again it hasn't exactly been a tough 16 games though they do play top 20 Coastal Carolina tomorrow (weather permitting as well).

But this same question came up earlier in the season, and the rankings that were shown on ESPN weren't even close. In fact, the USA Today poll they have on their website has us listed at #10. The updated poll on the USA Today site has us at 5th. Who knows.

Why the heck are they using a coaches poll in the first place?

I read somewhere that the school uses whichever poll has us ranked highest when it comes to things they put out. If the coaches poll has us at #2, and the other fifty polls have us #5, the school will still say "#2 Wolfpack take on UNC this Friday" in their release, tweet, etc. The next week, if we're ranked higher by BA, that's the one they'll use. Since the school controls the broadcast of home games on ESPN/ACC network extra, perhaps the same holds true there.

16th is lowest ranking in a while for this club. Hate the way we finished the regular season and ACCT. Praying can turn it around but doesn't look good. I think we peaked 1st 1/2 of the season.
