I played golf against Dustin in 7th and 8th grade and we got paired up in most matches. Said he was just dicking around becasue it didn't make sense to play middle school baseball with how much he was going to play in the summer. Worked out pretty well for him haha. Good dude and family.

Where are you from?

His dad didn't want him being overused as a pitcher in middle school, that is part of the reason he transferred in HS too. He was a scratch golfer too though, one of those guys that was good at anything he did.

Yep, that is what his parents told mine during matches. We both played 1 man in middle school golf, I was at Pilot Mountain/East Surry. South Stokes had some really good golf programs as well through the years.

Thought the same thing the last 2 years. He hit .290 with 15 home runs after his freshman season. I am glad he is at UNCW, because it is good for the game (IMO), but man..... i wouldn't have been upset if we maybe gave him a call to see if he would be interested last summer.

Hemlock produces a ton of guys lol. East Surry was good at everything back then, probably still are now as well.

UVA is pretty loaded too. I completely forgot about Chris Arroyo, JUCO guy they have that D1 loves and isn't surprising that he's on this list.

Dude was getting major buzz from the D1 guys back in the fall. Played for Fitz-Gerald, dad of our former commit that was drafted by the Rangers. That program is loaded year in and year out.

FSU is loaded with pitching but I am not sure who their star hitters are going to be either

is this one of those years where we could have a really good year and still finish 4th in the acc?

schools north of Virg have struggled to put together a consistent winner because of weather. Baseball players have always preferred to play in the South which definitely helps us long term

ACC may suck in Basketball and Football presently, but we are a top conference in baseball.

And still behind the SEC in baseball, who have won the last five championships.

As loaded as the ACC has always been it is wild there has only been one champ in the last 50 years.
