COMMIT ALERT: Campbell OF Dalen Thompson Will Transfer To NC State

NC State has landed a big commitment from Campbell outfielder Dalen Thompson, who hit .313 with 10 home runs, 20 stole bases, and 47 RBIs this season.

Thompson appeared in 50 games this year, making 46 starts.  He went 2-for-5 with and scored two runs in Campbell’s road win at NC State.  Thompson also stole three bases in the win.

Capable of playing center or left, the Dunn (NC) will have one year of eligibility remaining.

When I saw the picture I was like 'didn't this guy steal a ton of bases against us this year?' - and sure enough its mentioned in the article. Definitely was productive against us, seems like a good get.

Pretty sure Dalen will end up at State, barring a surprise with the draft. He's actually from the big city of Bunnlevel.
