The full 64-team field, top-16 national seeds, first-round regional pairings and site assignments will be announced at Noon (ET), on Monday, May 27. The one-hour program will be shown live on ESPN2. The committee will set the entire 64-team bracket through both the super regionals and the first round of the Men's College World Series and will not reseed the field after play begins.

The committee over the years has shown they don't like having all the host sites concentrated in one part of the country. They always have a few out west. They also have shown repeatedly they don't give a crap about conference tournaments.

I called that earlier. Those two were gonna be on the last seed line, and East Carolina would potentially get the nod because of their facilities versus Duke. Completely expect Duke (possibly Wake?) to be selected as the 2 seed in that region tomorrow.

Has State listed as a 10 seed, paired up with LSU (yikes) as the 2 seed. Imagine the reunion Tommy Tanks would get in Raleigh..lol Northeastern and High Pont round out the other seeds. Have us paired with Oklahoma State in a potential Super Regional matchup. Georgia Tech listed as the 3 seed in Oklahoma State regional.

ECU projected as the 16 seed, paired with Duke and UNCW. Super Regional would be with 1 seed Tennessee..

Has Wake going to Georgia (#9 seed). Potential Super Regional with FSU the 8 seed.

UNC as a 3 seed. Paired with Texas as their 2 seed. Potential Super Regional with 14 seed UC Santa Barbara (rolls eyes)

Clemson as a 6 seed, paired with South Carolina and Coastal. Potential Super Regional with 11 seed Oklahoma (who has Dallas Baptist in their regional).
