Lanphere went 1/1 with 4 walks tonight. For the summer (in 4 games) he is hitting .429 and getting on base at a .600 clip.

Lyons is 3/4 tonight with a walk and HBP.

Shaffner started a couple nights ago on the mound. Went 4 scoreless innings.

In 2 outings this year he has gone 6.2 scoreless innings, 7 Ks 3 walks and given up 4 hits. He is also hitting .350 in 20 ABs. Not the appropriate thread, but his arm is really a key x factor next year. Glad to see he is presumably healthy.

couple updates-

Shaffner has a real nice start this weekend. Went 7 innings giving up 1 run, striking out 12 and walking one. For the summer, Shaffner has pitched 18.2 innings with a 1.45 ERA 27Ks and 6 walks. Awesome to see.

Heath Andrews had a meh start this weekend, but for the summer (on the cape) he has gone 14.2 innings with a 3.07 ERA, 12Ks to 5 walks.

Lyons had 3 hits last night as the summer leagues start to wrap up.

For the season, in 36 games, he is hitting .295,. 396 OBP, .813 OPS, 21 stolen bases, caught 2x. Only 20Ks in 132 ABs too.

Lanphere, in 12 games, is hitting .372 with a .518! OBP, 1.006 OPS, and 13 walks to only 6 Ks. (43 ABs)

Fraasman named first team all Great Lakes league. .370 BA and .996 OPS
