yeah, a closer who hangs breaking balls and misses middle-middle is not the answer in ACC play. You can get away with that against lesser competition but not in conference

Great game and great atmosphere. Jake Gelof is an absolute stud. Very glad we didn't waste more excellent starting pitching. Need to let this one catapult us a bit.

Feels like two weekends in a row where we were the better team 2 of the 3 games and only come out with one win. Two very good teams at least. Would be awesome to get 4 this week. Boston College has been good this year.

Avent got lucky today. Should not pulled Highfill. I know he pitched Thursday but he needs the innings
I asked a ref if he could give me a technical foul for thinking bad things about him. He said, of course not. I said, well, I think you stink. And he gave me a technical. You can't trust em.

I didn't think highfill looked as sharp today compared to his last 2 outings. Didn't give up any runs but they hit some balls hard. Probably wouldn't have given up the homers Lawson did but who knows.

I was with family most of the day in Black Mtn and only able to watch sporadically but Dom Fritton was fantastic again this week, no? He and Shaffner are two really solid young arms.
