What's everyone's thought on it so far? Saw a graphic while watching the Longwood game yesterday that the length on games is averaging around 2.5 hours with only one game approaching 3 hours. Found this little tidbit on youtube comparing a pitch sequence from a game last year to a complete 1/2 inning this year. I'm a huge fan of this rule change.

The games are definitely moving right along. I suspect that they'll get a little longer when we start to have some higher leverage games, but it's been refreshing. I know we got a delay on a batter and Elliott in a game the first weekend, but I'm still not a hundred percent clear on how that all works in conjunction with the pitch clock. Overall, I think we're well suited for the change since our pitchers have historically worked quickly.

I love it. They used this graphic in the game yesterday, which ironically was finished in 1:49 I think. I think we have had 3 pitch clock instances this year, with one being a called strike on State and 2 others going against opponents. That Baez clip is obviously an extreme but taking longer than 20 seconds to throw a pitch is pretty absurd. It's not Banana ball level of pace, and doesn't need to be, but I don't think you should have to commit 3.5-4hrs to watch a game when there are 50+ played in a season.
