I asked a ref if he could give me a technical foul for thinking bad things about him. He said, of course not. I said, well, I think you stink. And he gave me a technical. You can't trust em.

Green looks noticeably thicker as well. Good work in the offseason by Gabe Button to get these guys in shape.

10 hits through 2. Soles, Trice, Candelaria, Green all have 2. Soles and Green have 5 RBI combined.

Whitaker looking under control as well. Definitely a great start.

Chase Nixon PH for Soles after the rain delay. Andrew Sanders mentioned Soles was flexing his knee after avoiding a ground ball in the 2nd inning. Hopefully it's just precautionary for Soles.

I mean, he was in the weekend rotation most of last year, averaged a SO per inning, same as Wiladsen. He's done a great job of pitching to contact today and really hasn't had many opportunities to strike guys out because they've been swinging.

Harris has some nice sink and movement on his fastball. Likely a year or so away to add some strength/velo and work on the secondary stuff, but a decent debut. Got a K and a couple weak groundouts after surrendering a run

Watkins was electric. 93-94 with life and a very sharp slider.

Strikes out the side. However, he hit a guy and walked a guy. Pretty simple for him, throw strikes and he can be good.
