Per Andrew on the radio broadcast, the issue with the video broadcast is something to do with High Point's ability to broadcast the game, not an ESPN issue.

You don't schedule a game for a network without making sure that game can actually be broadcast on that network. JMO but that's on ESPN

Just passing along what he said. He said he saw people blaming ESPN on Twitter and it wasn't their fault.

Sounded like a good win. Big offensive day all around, but the top half of the lineup really shined. Other than one inning, pitching held them in check. Let's go take the series from Louisville.

3 more errors which isn't good, including an OF error which really isn't excusable (atleast the number of them we have). the other errors were by hood and adams.

We were credited for one error, by Adams on the play at first..

I listened to the whole broadcast, and the only times Andrew acknowledged an error were the play by Adams, and the one for them that ended up being changed to a hit for Brown. I don't remember a play to the outfield, I remember a play where Hood bobbled a ball but Andrew said it was a tough play and said at that time it was ruled a hit. Hard when you can't see the action, maybe you were there, but I was pretty focused in on the audio doing my best to envision what was happening.

Nope, wasn't there or listening. just had the livestats up on the CPU and was checking it from time to time. maybe im going crazy, but i swear at one point we showed 3 errors (which is when i went back to check and it was a play in left). either way, only 1 and it being the pitcher, is very good news. i'll take it

Yeah, I don't remember any funky plays in the outfield, but who knows. I'm not saying we were great defensively either way, but with as many errors as we've had this year, I try not to credit us with any extras.

No. 23 NC State baseball (24-11) scored nine unanswered runs en route to its 13-5 win over High Point (12-26) on Wednesday night at Truist Point, home of the High Point Rockers, extending its win streak to six.

With the win head coach Elliott Avent, the school's all-time winningest coach, captured his 950th win at NC State. Additionally, Tommy White broke the Wolfpack freshman home run record with his 14th of the season.

The Pack got off to a strong start, scoring two runs on four hits in the first. Devonte Brown led off the game with a triple to right field and scored on LuJames Groover III's base hit up the middle. Then, with runners at the corners, Josh Hood's sac fly to right field made it 2-0.

The Panthers got on the board in the third when Jackson Melton led off with a double, moved to third on a groundout and scored on a sac fly to left field.

In the fourth, White belted his team-leading 14th home run of the season, a two-run shot to left field, to break the NC State freshman home run record and put the Pack up 4-1.

High Point answered in the bottom frame with four runs on as many hits to take a 5-4 lead. A bases-loaded walk followed by a two-run single by Melton and a Blake Sutton RBI single brought the four runs across.

The Panthers' lead was short-lived, as Brown knotted the score at 5-5 in the sixth with his seventh homer of the year, a solo shot to left. A bases-loaded sac fly from Hood followed by a wild pitch with runners in scoring position and an RBI groundout by Noah Soles completed the four-run burst to give NC State an 8-5 lead.

NC State extended its lead in the seventh with a pair of runs on two hits. Payton Green led off the inning with his second hit of the night, a single to left field, and scored from third on a wild pitch. Dominic Pilolli drove in the other run with his double to right center with runners at first and second to make it 10-5.

A bases-loaded walk with Hood at the plate followed by a sac fly from Soles and a wild pitch with Pilolli at third capped off the Pack's nine unanswered runs.

Carson Kelly picked up his second win of the year on the mound, allowing just one hit and one walk in 2.1 scoreless innings. Additionally, Logan Adams secured his second-straight save as he tossed the final three innings and allowed just one runner to reach base.

Brown led the Pack's offense with a career-high 4-for-6 outing, while White (3-for-4), Pilolli (3-for-4), Groover (2-for-4) Soles (2-for-5) and Green (2-for-5) all turned in multi-hit performances to contribute to the team's 16 hits in the contest.

Groover extended his hit streak to 22 games and his reached base streak to 25, while Soles is currently on an 11-game hit streak as he has tallied 22 in the span.

NC State will next travel to No. 11 Louisville for a three-game ACC series. The teams will play Friday at 8 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday at 1 p.m. at Jim Patterson Stadium. Friday's game will be broadcast on the ACC Network and the final two will be on ACCNX. Additionally, all three games will be aired on WKNC 88.1 and the Varsity Network App.

I was there. Good crowd. A lot of pack fans. Most, like me, spend more time in line to get concessions than in the seat. Concessions was wayyy short staffed.

Good number of Pack fans there - certainly more than High Point.

Not sure why they didn't have more staffing for concessions.

Random: High Point had a pep band playing in the right field bleachers.
