When you are the batter, it's your responsibility to stay in the batter's box until the play is dead. If the runner is not going to second and he tries the throw to 3rd anyway then I don't think they would have called interference but he did cross in front of the plate and there was a play at second.

I have not seen Bomby White pull one but I'm not positive I've seen all 13 (I'm pretty sure I have).

He had one that may have been ten feet left of dead center the first weekend. He hasn't hit one I would consider pulled.

My American Legion coach on an 0-2/1-2 count would always yell, "throw it in the dirt!", after relaying the pitches to the catcher. Anyone that played on Post 93 in the 90s probably does the same today. I know I do. lol

I played second base, but one year coach had me show the outfielders how to catch flies with two hands cause that just how I was taught growing up. It's apparently a lost art.

I disagree. Yes the centerfielder has control out there but that was Marcy's ball all the way. He has to catch it.

Well Gold was almost right with Tommy hitting a homer to left.

In that situation with Marcy haven't had played in a while, I agree, DBrown should've taken that one over. Much easier for him to make that catch, IMO. Not a difficult grab by any means, just easier for the CF.
