At some point, you are what your record says you are -and having an ability to muck around and win ugly is a a pretty good skill to have

The hit batter when he had two strikes was unfortunate. Might not have given up any runs at all. If Silver can hold them there then we should be ok.

Early in the first game they said BC was last in the conference and we were 11th. We just cannot make routine plays and can never remember an Avent coached team this bad on defense. Not saying it hasn't happened but I sure don't remember it.

I was always under the impression that if the ball hit the knob of the bat it was a foul, even if it hit your hand. That's the second one know where there was a drastic change of direction on the ball that looked very much like it got the knob. If it bounced that hard off that dude's hand, I don't know how he's still in the game.

If you swing at the ball and it hits you, it's a strike. I think he tried to hold up so they thought it hit is hand.

If the momentum of the swing carrying you into the other batters box is interference, then every catcher should just stand up and try to throw every time that happens with runners on.

He interfered with the throw to second when he walked across the plate. Even if the catcher was faking the throw and recocked his arm, you cannot cross in front of him like that.
