Does anyone know if Godman is hurt? He swung it well at Clemson and has disappeared since.

Surprised we didn't hit for Cozart in the 9th there since he had two bad Ks earlier, and we had some options on the bench. He ended up giving them a perfect DP ball that should have ended the inning. obviously it all worked out....

Not Cozart

Bit win for the Pack once again in the 9th! Still some sloppy stuff at the plate with unproductive outs but a W is a W. Should have taken a 4-3 lead after the Tommy White leadoff double in the 6th or 7th but ended up not even advancing him at all. Glad we got some timely defense to give us a chance to win it in the 9th.

Also, I have not seen everything from each of the last 4-5 games but Tommy White looks like a natural at 3b. May not have the range that Green has but is just more ready to play the spot now from what i've seen. Strong arm to 1st that is accurate and good hands and fielding on balls hit to him. Don't see him giving that spot up anytime soon. I haven't missed any big gaffs have I?

And also, to Green's credit, kid is putting it together at the plate. Hope he continues to grow and give us some danger at the bottom of the order.

Cozart left the Clemson game. Godman previously had a reported hand injury, possibly broken, but then he played after that. He was a last minute scratch for game 2 last weekend, and hasn't played since, which would lead me to believe he is injured or reinjured. But I haven't seen anything posted.

UPDATE: It has been confirmed that we will play a 3 PM doubleheader today, with game two to begin 45 minutes after the conclusion of game one. Game two will be our #StrikeOutALS Game.

The trading cards that were to be given out tomorrow will now be given away for the April 30th game vs. Radford.

Had to throw a ton of pitches, but the important thing is that no runs scored. Let's see of our bats can get going early today.

Why can't Willadson just throw a fastball for a strike? Every pitch he's trying to hit a corner with something off speed.

We seem to run into a lot of pitchers having career outings this year.

We have got to move forward in the box and look for the off speed stuff. Groover let two hittable balls go right down the middle of the plate and then was behind and had to go fishing. This guy is not throwing that hard. Don't worry about the fastball.

Matt has not pitched great and this was probably his last inning, but he has kept us in the game. That is all you can ask. If we can't score one, then we can't win anyway.

Is Godman hurt? Cozart is just damn near an automatic out at this point.
